Radical obedience pays off radically.

     My name is Aaron Schad, and in 2015 I left a “good idea” for a “God idea.” What I mean is, the Lord urged me to leave my stable, good-paying day job in pursuit of a massage therapist degree, having no idea where it would lead me. 

     Within two years after school, I was placed in two different massage jobs that ended up being far more profound for my practice than I could have possibly realized at the time. One job was at a chiropractic office where I had the opportunity to be privately trained by a chiropractor. He offered hands-on training with clients, where I was able to focus my massage skills and obtain a better understanding of structure, function, and motion. The other job that hugely influenced my practice was with a team of 70 professionals that combined different modalities and the use of X-rays in the treatment of each client. To include, chiropractic therapy, massage therapy, functional movement training, spinal decompression, dietary health, and phlebotomy. 

     I didn’t realize how valuable all those years of experience were for me until the Lord led me to open my own massage clinic inspired by Christian values, miracles, and amazing results I had witnessed over the years. A place where I could provide a Christ-centered approach to massage. In all the years serving alongside Chiropractors and other therapists, I had the opportunity to experience just about everything in this field and am now confident in my ability to treat most any condition that a person can have. 

     Not only have I seen how profound simple preventative maintenance can be for a person, but I have also seen injury recovery. When I married my wife Ginny, a full-time ICU nurse, I gained even more perspective. A hard reality is to see young healthy people become seriously injured, permanently impaired, or even die because they never invested in any self-care.

We believe that caring for one another is not just a “Good idea” it's a “God idea.” 

     When Sacred Healing Massage grew large enough to hire employees we decided to choose applicants with similar stories, backgrounds, and work experiences. We specifically chose highly competent, practiced massage therapists to make sure we are providing quality experiences. If we can’t solve an issue, we can refer you to someone who can. Every person is at a different place with their health, longevity, and fitness goals.
